Beutiful with a few disappointing oversights

Looks great, lots of detail, but strangely clunky.
“Show dock icon” makes the menu bar icon go away when the app is closed, so that I thought I’d have to have the app in the dock full time in order to get the quick glance info, but it turns out that disabling “show dock icon” allows the menu bar icon to remain in place.
Doesn’t open in a “window”, but rather uses the whole desktop such that part of the display is behind the dock - perhaps rescaling the display is difficult (?) but the only way to see the whole display is to maximize it to cover the dock.

For those that are not astronomers, but would like to know more, a little hover over help on some of the more technical terms would be a really nice feature.
